We are using a new selling system www.selloo.co.uk as this allows us to make more money for Hope For Huck and gets rid of the high eBay fees.

I would personally like to thank everyone that has donated items to the Appeal so far it is very much appreciated. I will continue to run the auction for as long as I can get items to sell.

We are asking anyone who may have something they can donate that we can sell to please get in touch with us and help us raise as much money as possible. Huck has put so much into our sport and now it is our turn to put into Huck and help him. If you have anything, signed, unsigned, race kit, products, tickets, anything we will sell! Please e-mail carly.rathmell@btinternet.com to arrange delivery, logos etc.

There are two sites now

HOPE FOR HUCK - Facebook - Hope For Huck - this money from the selloo auctions that I do goes towards Huck and his family for as long as he can battle with the cancer.

FRIENDS OF HUCK - The Official Charity - 1160846 - www.facebook.com/FriendsOfHuckCharity - this money is from various events held and the monies are split between various cancer charities and seriously ill or injured riders. Check out the new website - http://www.friendsofhuck.co.uk/ - this charity has been set up by Mark and his wife Emma to put money back into the sport.

These two are totally separate.

Mark Hucklebridge Update - 4th April 2016

It has been a bit up and down really. I've started getting pains in my leg from a tumour which is growing in my groin. I had some radiotherapy which helped a little bit. I can only stay on chemo for 3 months then I have to rest, so I have been trying to get my blood results down as low as possible. They were at the highest at 188.8 and at my last count they've managed to get them down to 115 which is great news and shows the chemo is still working.

I have been trying different chemo to see if I can find a maintenance dose but the last one I tried was really hard and caused me a lot of pain. The old chemo was still working but we are just trying something new.

I am still having fun when I can and not on chemo, we've done lots of things for the Charity which helps other people. We had the boxing night and raised a hugh 23K and it was great to have Carly and Jamie to our house and spend time with them, it was the only way to get them here!

I ran the Bath half fun run with Charlie, it's only a mile but he beat me by over a minute running it in 6 minutes 40 seconds - not bad for an 8-year-old! I also managed to race on Good Friday on a 125 and I absolutely loved it, despite suffering for it since. It was so good to be back out on a bike again!

I love spending my weekends with Em and Charlie and enjoying working for MJ Church in the week. We're looking forward to some warmer weather now so we can get out and do more things together. I am very lucky to have so many good people around me to keep me going, I love you all.
