ITALIAN DRIVER CLINCHES THE SECOND PLACE IN RACE 2 AT MONZA SHARING THE ANTONELLI MOTORSPORT LAMBORGHINI HURACÁN GT3 WITH ALBERTO DI FOLCO

Agostini and Di Folco claimed the second place in a wet race on Sunday, after the first one set the fourth time in the qualifying. Agostini started third and gained the second position in the first lap by overtaking the other Lamborghini of Gattuso-Frassineti and taking the trail of the Marco Mapelli’s Audi.

Under the rain Agostini didn’t make any mistake and was steadily one of the fastest on track, before being replaced by Di Folco. After a very confusing pit-stop due to a seat belt problem, the latter took the lead.

Eventually he moved second, defending against the attacks of the other Lamborghini driven by Jeroen Mul and finishing second. This result followed the 7th place clinched in Race 1 despite another problem in the pit-stop, when the engine turned off.

Next round is schedule for the last weekend of May at Imola, when the expectations are high.
