Thanks to the double victory in Silverstone, the Finn Patrick Kujala and Swiss Adrian Amstutz are now leading the PRO-AM standings while the Croatian driver Martin Kodric is placed third in PRO standings just at few points from the top...
For Bonaldi Motorsport the Silverstone round started in the worst way ever with a car out for the entire weekend but ended gloriously with Amstutz and Kujala’s double victory in the PRO-AM category and with Kodric’s podium, who reached third position twice, as well as Barbosa and Vera, who were third in Race 1 in PRO-AM.
Thanks to the double podium, Martin Kodric, real showman of the two races, is now placed third in the general standings and he’s only eight points from the new leader, Vito Postiglione. Martin showed he can win and he is now competing for the 2016 title. In effect, the first four races highlighted that many drivers can win a single race and the championship is more competitive than ever.
Next round of Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo is scheduled on the French circuit Paul Ricard at the weekend of June, 26th.
Marco Bielli, team manager: “This was a very positive weekend. Despite the initial difficulties, Amstutz and Kujala could join the races and they rewarded the team with two prestigious victories which led them to the top of the standings. The two other crews performed well too: Kodric showed that victory is within his reach.
