Maxxis MSA English Rally Championship

Round 3: DMACK Carlisle Stages, 11 June

The championship returned to Cumbria for the Carlisle Rally which took place over stages in Kielder forest.

Matthew Robinson, accompanied by Graham Wilcock, was the winner of Class E5. In the hotly contested E2 class, Jordan and Paul Hone held a slender lead ahead of Joe Evett and Phil Hall who took up the chase with fastest times on the last two stages.

James Hutchins and James Hood took an early lead in class E3 before retiring in the Kershope stage leaving Tim and Kit Leigh to take maximum points.

Dominic Hodge and Stefan Arndt took class E1, while in class E4 it was Cameron Davies and Lee Taylor who won their class and moved into the outright championship lead.
