Golf with balls!

For the brand new Golf GTI that VW will bring to the road in early winter, the German Tuner B&B (.bb-automobiltechnik.de)  is developing a tuning program which makes the series-line 200 hp strong GTI go up to 350 HP.

The five-level engine program starts on the first level with an alteration of the electronics and a slight increase in boost pressure, to bring the 2.0ltr. engine for 998 € to strong 230HP and 350Nm. In steps of 250, 286 or 300 HP, the GTI reaches on the final EVO R level rousing 350 HP and 450Nm. To get to this tremendous power, the technicians of B&B change the 2.0ltr. engine for an 2.2ltr. with modified crankshaft and piston before they rarefy the resulting power increase with adaptations on cylinder heads, turbo charger, air cooler, etc. Additionally, a sport exhaust system with a special pre-exhaust pipe as well as a high-end race catalyst is mounted to the race Golf. To keep the temperature of the oil even at “hot rides” on an optimal level, B&B inserts a slim-line oilcooler.

Available are, next to an adjustable chassis in different versions, exclusive wheels in 18” + 19” inches, 4- and 6-pistons brake systems, as well as a sporty short-shift. To make the GTI look even more imposing, an offbeat styling program is in preparation.
