Classic competition motorcycles are being added to the 2005International Historic Motorsport Show at Stoneleigh Park,further enhancing the event's status as Europe¹s premierwinter show for historic motorsport.
Two-wheeled machines will be on display from every disciplinewhere historic motorcycles are allowed to compete in currentevents, including historic racing, pre-1965 trials and motocross.
"We have been under pressure from the bikers ever since ourinaugural show. With 50 percent more exhibition space at the2005 event, we realise that we now have enough space toaccommodate them," explained Event Director Ian Williamson(who was himself a works trials rider).
The 2005 event is expanding to 20,000 square metres in fivehalls, including a brand new International Hall. Last year, weattracted 16,000 enthusiasts, competitors and newcomers tothe show, with exhibitors from the USA, France, Germany,Switzerland, Italy, Holland and Ireland.
