TAG Heuer will be the Official Timekeeper of the17th-annual “The Race of Champions- Nations Cup”, to be held for the firsttime ever in the 70,000-person capacity Stade de France in Paris.
At the avant-garde of Swiss watchmaking since its creation in 1860, TAGHeuer is now actively involved in three major motor-racing events: the F1World Championship with Team West McLaren Mercedes, the Indy Racing League(IRL) with its legendary Indianapolis 500 race, and The Race of Champions-Nations Cup 2004.
When it comes to high-precision timekeeping, TAG Heuer possessesunparalleled expertise, thanks to its active participation in 190 Formula 1races, as well as its Official Timekeeper responsibilities with ScuderiaFerarri from 1971-1979 and with West McLaren Mercedes since 1985. The firstto develop--in 1966--instruments capable of accurately measuring to 1/1,000of a second, TAG Heuer is today able to guarantee optimum reliability andprecision in motorcar timing to 1/10,000 of a second.
