Following one of its most successful seasons to date, the Porsche Club GB is already planning for 2005 and reports strong interest in both the Michelin Porsche Club Championship and the Michelin Porsche Open Series.Steve Kevlin, head of Motorsport at the Porsche Club GB, is now fielding new enquiries about the club's 2005 race programme and expects a number of new cars to join the race championships, including the possibility of two 928s for the Open Series. Several former Porsche Club racers are also likely to return to racing.Once again, the headline meeting of the season will be the Porsche Festival, of which further details will be announce shortly. In the meantime, the major awards and trophies from the 2004 season will be presented at the club's Awards Dinner on Saturday 20 November.The 2004 Porsche Club GB racing season delivered strong and varied grids, excellent racing and a sporting camaraderie amongst the racers. Those key elements will continue in 2005 when over 100 drivers are expected to compete in the club's twin race series.
