HRCR launches Open Day

The Historic Rally Car Register will unveil its full 2005 competition programme at an Open Day to be at the Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon on Saturday 15 January, 2005.The Open Day, which is free of charge to members and non-members alike, will showcase the comprehensive 2005 HRCR programme. The day will be the perfect chance for those considering any branch of historic rallying to find out more about one of the fastest growing areas of the sport in Britain.Full details of the Armajaro MSA British Historic Rally Championship, the HRCR Clubmans Rally Championship, the new HRCR Night Road Rally Championship, Continental Tours and UK Scenic Tours will be available to existing and prospective competitors.Starting at 9.30am and running until 4.30pm, the Open Day will incorporate free seminars on stage rally co-driving and vehicle eligibility, subject to pre-booking.Organisers of individual championship rounds will be on hand to talk to competitors about their 2005 events and championship sponsors will also be present.A display of up to 50 historic rally cars will be mounted in the outside display area and the 2005 Armajaro MSA British Historic Rally Championship will be officially launched by a star guest.The Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon is just off junction 12 of the M40 near Warwick. The on-site café will be serving lunch from 12 noon until 2pm.
