Battle of Britain at Wimbledon

Spedeworth Southern top drivers from four formulas will be battling it out at Wimbledon Stadium on November 28th at 6pm for the Best in Britain title in their respective racing class.

Topping the bill on the night the awesome National Hot Rods will take to the track to prove who is the ‘Best in Britain’. These fearsomely fast cars, which cost around £20,000 each, will scorch the tarmac around Plough Lane as the drivers dice with each other for victory and the right to the prestigious title.

The ever-popular Superstox will be in action on the night, putting the bumper in as their drivers go all out to claim the silverware. The Superstox are firm favourites at Wimbledon where they always deliver a series of pedal to the metal races and spectators can expect a feast of full-throttle action as the drivers go all out to win the title on the night.

More metal on metal mayhem is on the cards as the 1300cc Stock Cars appear and the drivers push, barge and spin their way through the pack to be first under the flag and lift the trophy for this full-contact formula.

The powerful, non-contact 2.0 Hot Rods will also be in action. These rapid race cars always have the crowd on their feet as they scream around the tight Plough Lane circuit with just inches between them and the car shredding Wimbledon safety fence.

With four formulas on the track, all boasting the best drivers in the country, chasing one of stock car racing’s most sought after titles, Sunday November 28th at Wimbledon Stadium is the place to be to chase away the winter blues with some red hot racing action.
