Siamese Racers at Wimbledon

The Siamese cars consist of a Metro perched on top of a Ford Sierra with a brave (and possibly quite mad) pilot steering from the top car while an equally brave (and equally certifiable) driver operates the accelerator and brakes from the bottom car. Needless to say handling is not on par with a F1 Ferrari, so plenty of “interesting” racing action is on the cards when these bizarre machines attempt to navigate their way around Plough Lane. To add to the fun these cars race to Banger rules, so drivers are allowed to put the bumper in as the race progresses.

More metal bending mayhem is guaranteed with the Mini and Metro Bangers tearing each other apart in their annual Mini/ Metro Madness event. Despite their bantam size and weight the little cars deliver a night of full-size action as they are driven to destruction in pursuit of the chequered flag.

The V8 Stock Cars will also be in action as the drivers compete in the Les Gamblen and Terry O’ Conner Memorial. These powerful machines are always crowd pleasers at Plough Lane as the drivers power around the circuit and remove the opposition with their very purposeful front bumpers.

With the Mighty V8 Stock Cars and Mini/Metro Bangers in action, plus the chance to see the amazing Siamese Racers Spedeworth South will deliver another great value for money night’s racing on December 12th at Wimbledon Stadium, Britain’s finest stock car racing venue.
