Pickups in Autosport Live Action Arena

The Pickup Trucks will once again be entertaining the crowds in the Indoor Arena shows at the Autosport International Show in January.

Eight of the formula’s top entertainers will be on racing duty on the tricky indoor circuit.  Kelly-Jane Wells, who stunned the crowds at our last round with a superb third place, will be hoping to give the lads a hard time once again.  She will face some tough competition however with reigning National Champion Gavin Seager and his arch rival, Rockingham Champion Mark Willis set to take the battle to Ms Wells.  Also racing are 2004 Rookie title winner Martin Heath and former Outlaw Hot Rod Champion Antony Hawkins. Simon Carr, who was a race winner and 2nd in the Rockingham Championship will also be out to entertain.  The line up is completed by ex short circuit champions Ni! c Grindrod and Karl Turner.

All eight racers are looking forward to entertaining the crowds once again but have all warned that there’s no such thing as a Pickup Truck ‘demonstration’.  They’ll all be racing to the chequered flag as per normal.

The live action arena is the fourth most watched motorsport event in the UK and will have race fans and petrol heads alike on the edge of their seats from start to finish.

The Autosport International Show takes place at the NEC, Birmingham from Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th January 2005.
