After a three year absence from his last race on a 100 cc kart, Giacomo Piccini made a come back at the Val Vibrata Winter Trophy for the Plan Divisione Corse by Lancieri. Giacomo took an excellent 2nd place win and proved that he has not lost his touch.

“It was a great pleasure for me to go back for a Kart Race. Above all for Gabriele Lancieri who wanted me to be a part of his team.  After a great qualifying session, I fought throughout the whole race for the first place. I was in front of the grid for about 10 laps.  But, because I may have been a little rusty, I wasn’t able to bring home the victory.

This second place win that comes after 3 years of absence gives me a lot of satisfaction.”
