Friday Testing

Robert Kubica and Epsilon Euskadi in command at the HTTT Circuit of Paul RicardThe World Series by Renault entered Teams had continued their Collective Test inthe Paul Ricard HTTT, completing his second testing day with the Dallara Nissan andthe FRV6 cars. After the clouds of yesterday, the day started with a cold sunshine butas the day went on, the weather conditions became less sunny and the drivers endedthe day under wet conditions.

The main objective of these tests has been to introduce the Dallara chassis poweredby Nissan to all the Formula V6 teams. The merge of the World Series by Nissanchampionship with Renault Sport has led these teams to be testing similar cars of theintroduced today the next 2005 season. The big difference will be the engine, ofcourse, powered by Renault Sport.Robert Kubika, driving for Epsilon Euskadi, has shown his motivation achieving thefastest lap, 1,17,394. The Galician driver Celso Míguez, driving one of the cars of thewinner 2004 Team in the WS, Pons Racing, has been second fastest with a 1,17,622followed by Álvaro Parente (Carlin Motorsport) with 1,17,866.
