Spedeworth South will finish off the Christmas celebrations in smashing style when the Big Van Bangers take to the track at Wimbledon Stadium on December 27t7h at 2pm.

The vans, which once were to be seen delivering goods on the highway, will deliver something rather different on the day as their drivers attempt to wipe each other out over several races and a demolition derby.

The van drivers may have been full of Christmas cheer just a couple of days before, but comes the 27th it will be back to take no prisoners and show no mercy racing as they batter their ex commercial vehicles through the pack.

Previous Big Van Banger meets have produced some vans that looked suspiciously like buses – well, actually, they were buses – so expect the drivers to stretch the rule book as much as possible when it comes to deciding what constitutes a “big van” again this year.

Engine swaps are permitted so some of the old vans will be moving much faster than when they were doing their rounds, as they give each other and the Wimbledon safety fence a severe battering.

The Big Vans will be joined by the ever-popular Stock Cars, in action on the day to settle their London Championship.

Fans of non-contact racing will be catered for with the Stock Rods. These budget racers are in action for their London Championship.
