Positive response for OSRC

Initial competitor response to the Open Sports Racing Cup has been strong, with the BARC reporting a healthy number of enquiries about the new series from potential competitors."We've had lots of interest from a variety of different car owners," says Ian Watson of the British Automobile Racing Club. "It's looking good for the coming season."The new series is open to an extensive range of sports-racing cars and will run over six weekends and 17 races.Technical regulations for the new race series will be available from the end of January and the dates previously published remain unchanged. The OSRC will kick off with a double-header at Donington Park on Sunday 24 April. The remaining five weekends will all feature three races.Unveiled at Autosport International was the new Juno SS3 that Juno Racing Ltd will enter in the series for reigning Global Lights champion David Mountain.
