Salon Privé to donate 20% of ticket revenue to DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal

#StandWithUkraine

Following the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, and the urgent need for humanitarian support, Salon Privé London is donating 20% of all entry ticket revenue to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) via Work for Good.

Ahead of the first Salon Privé London event at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, 21-23 April 2022, the Directors of Salon Privé, Andrew and David Bagley, have committed 20% of the event’s entry ticket revenue as a donation to help relieve the suffering as part of #StandWithUkraine.

The Salon Privé team is also now working with its sponsors and partners to develop other fundraising activities leading up to, and during, the luxury car event. As part of this, Salon Privé is calling on the entire industry to do all that it can to help alleviate this ongoing tragedy and support a nation in distress.

‘Like everyone, we are following the heart-breaking news about the war in Ukraine with deep sadness,’ said Andrew Bagley. ‘The people of Ukraine are going through unimaginable hardship and we see it as a moral obligation to assist those suffering. It is clear that they need all the help that they can get, and we hope that the funds raised will help to make a difference to some of the people affected by this terrible conflict.’

Working with DEC and Work for Good, the funds raised will directly help the people forced to leave everything behind as they flee the fighting in Ukraine. With 18 million expected to be affected by the conflict, and four million displaced, the resources will provide vital supplies of shelter, food and water.

Bringing together 15 leading aid charities, the DEC raises funds quickly and efficiently at times of crisis overseas. People in life-and-death situations rely on its help as it works to save, protect and rebuild lives through effective humanitarian response.

Salon Privé London, sister event to Salon Privé Blenheim, will make its debut this April at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, a brand-new location for one of the UK’s most exclusive luxury car events. This presents a fantastic and timely opportunity to galvanise all those involved with, and attending the event, to raise much needed funds to help the people of Ukraine.

The entire team at Salon Privé London believe that this is just the start of its work and will explore all options in fundraising, and encourages others to support where they can.

Collectively, everyone can make a difference to the millions this conflict is directly affecting as we #StandWithUkraine.
