Lamborghini continues 60th anniversary celebrations at Salon Privé

Lamborghini Revuelto, the world’s first super sports V12 hybrid HPEV, to star

Spectacular display of 70-plus V12 Lamborghinis as part of the Salon Privé Club Trophy by Lockton on Supercar Saturday

Salon Privé opens on August 30

Lamborghini will continue its 60th anniversary celebrations at Salon Privé later this month – with the radical Revuelto, the firm’s first super sports V12 hybrid plug-in, confirmed to make one of its first UK appearances.

With a staggering 1,015hp, the first Lamborghini High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) combines an all-new naturally-aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine with three electric motors and a double-clutch gearbox. It has all-wheel drive, 13 drive modes and even offers a fully-electric mode.

This ability to drive as a purely electric car helps reduce overall CO2 emissions by 30% - yet the Lamborghini Revuelto also delivers a new paradigm in terms of performance, sportiness and driving pleasure. The car has the best weight-to-power ratio in the history of Lamborghini, accelerating from 0-62mph in just 2.5 seconds and onto a top speed of more than 217mph.

Lamborghini, in partnership with Lamborghini Birmingham, is also planning to show models from the Huracan and Urus ranges.

The Lamborghini 60th anniversary celebrations continue on the Salon Privé Blenheim South Lawn, where a fabulous showcase of 70-plus classic V12 Lamborghinis will be on display. This dedicated Club event on 2 September will be part of the famous Salon Privé Supercar Saturday. There will be an additional display of V8 and V10 Lamborghinis in the Great Court, as part of the Salon Privé Club Trophy by Lockton.

“It is fantastic that Salon Privé is going to be part of the year-long celebrations marking 60 years of Lamborghini,” said Salon Privé co-founder and director David Bagley. “Showcasing the tremendous Lamborghini Revuelto will be a real highlight, particularly as we’re also going to see a display of more than 70 classic V12 Lamborghinis during Salon Privé Supercar Saturday. It will be a wonderful way to celebrate 60 years of Lamborghini.”
