While 2023 is not quite over yet, SRO Motorsports Group is already working flat-out on what promises to be a hugely exciting 2024.

Indeed, the year ahead will be extra special for the company founded and led by Stéphane Ratel, as its flagship event, the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, celebrates its centenary edition on 26-30 June.

One of the most prestigious meetings on the global motorsport calendar, the Belgian endurance classic will mark this landmark in style. Behind the scenes, plans are underway to ensure that spectators – who numbered more than 83,000 in 2023 – and fans watching around the world enjoy an exceptional experience.

It is in this spirit that SRO has launched a unique visual identity for the centenary edition. With its clean lines and crisp colours, it is inspired by the logo that was unveiled earlier in 2023. It includes the new title sponsor, cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike, while also pointing to the event’s Belgian heritage and recognising its modern status.

Added to the right-hand side of the logo, an old-fashioned stamp recalls the unique and historic character that the 2024 edition will evoke. Indeed, by giving free rein to your imagination, this ink stamp becomes symbolic of 100 years of long-distance competition at Spa-Francorchamps.

It could recall the stamps used at scrutineering during the race’s early years, or those at the Ancienne Douane border checkpoint between Prussia and Belgium. This gave its name to a bend on the early version of the circuit, which was eventually replaced by today’s iconic Raidillon. Indeed, the possibilities are numerous.

This special logo will be used in all communication for the 2024 event, and as part of the temporary collective exhibition entitled “The Gallery of Time”. As a reminder, fans are invited to participate in this endeavour by sharing their experiences from the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa.

The announcement of the exhibition last month drew plenty of positive feedback, suggesting that an exceptional collection can be assembled. If you would like to get involved in the centenary of the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, please contact us by email at: 24h@sro-motorsports.com.
