Round four of the 2015 GP2 Series and it's time for the teams and drivers to return to the Red Bull Ring at Spielberg in Austria. This will be only the second time the 4.326km circuit has hosted a GP2 race weekend following the Series debut there last year where the Racing Engineering had an excellent weekend with their drivers taking third and fourth in the Feature Race and second and third in the Sprint Race. Racing Engineering’s two drivers, Jordan King and Alexander Rossi, will be looking forward to the challenge of the Austrian track and Alexander raced here last year in GP2 taking two top eight finishes. Jordan has raced here several times in the European F3 Championship finishing on the podium three times and winning a round in 2014. The previous three rounds have shown that both men are very quick in both qualifying and race conditions and Alexander lies second in the Drivers’ Championship with three podium finishes whilst Racing Engineering is also second in the Team Standings.

While race 1 saw them in 3rd and 4th position, they were both on the podium of race 2.The F1 weekend at the RBR is a spectacle for motorsport fans. You can see Gerhard Berger, Niki Lauda, Alain Prost or Riccardo Patrese race their cars from the 80’s, when engines had 1400hp.44 monitors are in operation using 26 cameras providing a seamless view of the race track.A special feature of the racetrack are the differences in elevation, maximum uphill grade: 12% and maximum grade: 9.3%.
