Alpine Cars, the French sports premium brand, is integral to the futuREady strategy of the Renault Group, focused on delivering growth with the goal of creating a sustainable and profitable business. Having announced triple-digit growth last year, exceeding 10,000 registrations for the first time in its history, with 10,970 vehicles sold, the brand is now focused on continuing its expansion.

As part of the Renault Group strategy day, Alpine reinforced its ambitions, with the goal of supporting the financial stability and contribution of the Renault Group for its mid-term plan. To meet current market expectations and customer demand, the brand has confirmed the development of the Alpine Performance Platform - APP, which will underpin different body styles that will be launched in the coming years: coupe, spider and 2+2 – all with no compromises.

The future generation of the Alpine A110, including the brand-new Alpine Performance Platform - APP, will be developed and manufactured at the Manufacture Alpine Dieppe Jean Rédélé, ensuring full continuity with the brand’s heritage and industrial DNA. As the birthplace of Alpine and the production site of the current A110 since the brand’s rebirth in 2017, Dieppe remains at the heart of Alpine’s story. Building the next A110 in Dieppe naturally extends this legacy, linking past, present and future generations of the brand’s iconic sports car while preserving the unique savoir‑faire that has defined Alpine since Jean Rédélé’s original vision.

ALPINE PERFORMANCE PLATFORM - APP DETAILS

Structure
The Alpine Performance Platform – APP – addresses all the technical challenges around weight, design and electrification and facilitates the creation of an EV sportscar true to Alpine’s DNA. To ensure agility, an advanced aluminium architecture is being developed, offering lightness and modularity that translates into dynamic responsiveness and efficiency. The whole architecture is stiff, featuring innovative bonded and riveted technology to support structural integrity and lightweight design.

Chassis and its electronical and mechanical integration
To respect the 40/60% front:rear balance of a true sports car, two battery packs are being added to the architecture, in order to maintain the A110’s iconic, sporty silhouette. To further reduce the weight and its charging time, the 800V cell-to-pack batteries will be included in the Alpine Performance Platform - APP,  with high energy density cells. Part of the platform, a new rear dual e-motor 3-in-1 e-axle is being developed, delivering exceptional torque and performance with ultrafast control, thanks to its SIC inverter. Mechanically, the Alpine Performance Platform - APP will benefit from two new full aluminium suspension set-ups, plus new integrated braking and steering systems.

High-tech brain
The Alpine Dynamic Model - ADM ECU – is the high-tech brain of the platform, integrating seamlessly everything from the battery management to the e-motors, managing the brakes, steering, and active aerodynamics.

Exhilarating Experience
To enhance the driving experience of the next generation of Alpine EV sports cars, the brand  has developed Alpine Active Torque Vectoring – AATV - to ensure a true lightweight feel. Every 10 milliseconds the system can deliver different torque on the right and left wheels, for the very best dynamic performance.

Furthermore, a Formula 1-inspired driving position - low-slung, with a vertical steering wheel and all the key instruments within easy sight and reach– sets the driver at the heart of the car.

“Our ambition is to become the leading French sports speciality brand in the world, offering the best driver’s cars of the EV era. We will do this by constantly embracing new technologies and bonding them with Alpine's DNA.” explains Philippe Krief, Chief Executive Officer of the Alpine brand.

“First, we are focusing on our growth goals with the Alpine A290 and the Alpine A390, allowing us to attract new customers.

Then, just as today the Alpine A110 is the foundation of our brand, showcasing our commitment to deliver high-technology products, we will offer the first true EV sportscar to the market. It will be true to Alpine's DNA and outperform the best of today’s combustion sports cars, thanks to the Alpine Performance Platform.

Beyond this, by remaining agile and flexible, Alpine will to be able to react in real time to market evolutions; our strategy is as adaptable as it is robust.”

Since 2024, Alpine has expanded its product portfolio from one car to three.

CONTINUOUS AND ORGANIC GROWTH
Since the launch of the A110 in 2018, Alpine has been growing significantly.

From starting out in its home market only to growing to have 170 retailers across 25 markets today, the brand has been expanding at pace.

The brand has established different formats of centres and stores across Europe. From experiential centres and sales points to brand experience centres, Alpine is now offering a variety of places where customers, prospects and fans can engage with the brand.

Alpine Store
Alpine Stores are the brand’s dedicated retail showrooms and workshops, designed to bring customers closer to Alpine products and services.

Alpine Stores are places where customers can discover, purchase and experience Alpine vehicles, while benefiting from personalized, one‑to‑one support throughout their ownership journey. They offer access to the latest Alpine models, official merchandise and collections, as well as a full range of after‑sales services, including maintenance, financing and trade‑in solutions.

Focused on proximity and customer care, Alpine Stores play a central role in the brand’s commercial network, combining sales expertise, product knowledge and high‑quality service to deliver a consistent and premium customer experience in line with Alpine’s positioning.

Atelier Alpine
Designed as immersive concept stores, Atelier Alpine spaces showcase the brand’s spirit, going beyond the product. The philosophy and soul of the brand can be experienced through different areas in Ateliers, including simulators, latest merchandise collections, personalisation areas or even restaurants and cafes.

Passion and emotion are at the heart of the Atelier Alpine. The first ever Atelier Alpine was inaugurated in Barcelona in June 2024, followed by the Atelier Alpine Paris in October 2025. In 2026, the plan is to open two more Atelier Alpine in Milano and in London.

La Piste Bleue
The foundation stone for the building was placed during the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2023, marking the centenary of one of the most reknowned endurance races in the world, and the building was inaugurated a year later, in June 2024.

The La Piste Bleue centre is offering customers and brand enthusiasts a unique, immersive brand experience, with different packages all aiming to get the public closer to driving pleasure, including developing skills behind the wheel of an Alpine.
