Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific customer team seven x seven Racing will take on the third round of the 2026 Super GT season this weekend at Fuji Speedway, competing in the GT300 category with Kiyoto Fujinami and Sven Müller.
The duo has enjoyed a solid start to the campaign, earning points at the Okayama opener, before securing an impressive fourth last time out at Fuji Speedway. These results mean Fujinami and Müller currently sit seventh in the GT300 Drivers’ Championship with five rounds still to go.
The Japanese outfit has a good record at the circuit, taking a pair of top 10 finishes there in 2025 as well as the fourth place from earlier this season. The squad has also scored points during the last eight Super GT races, a run which dates back to May last year.
This weekend’s event is the first since May, with the action ramping up after this round as the championship heads to Suzuka later this month. Sportsland SUGO and Autopolis await in September and October respectively, before the year concludes at Mobility Resort Motegi on 7-8 November.
Hot and humid conditions will greet the drivers for Round 3 as they take on the 4.563-kilometre-long Fuji Speedway. The circuit, which is located in the foothills of Mount Fuji, features one of the longest pit straights in motorsport at 1.475km, with overtaking likely to occur at the end of it into Turn 1. A fast and flowing opening quickly turns into a technical lap, constantly testing the drivers around the 16 corners.
Track action begins on Saturday with Official Practice at 10:30 local time (UTC+9), before qualifying later that day from 14:20. Sunday sees lights out for the 66-lap race at 13:30.
