Pole position, domination from start to finish, victory and fastest lap in the race: Léo Jousset and Rudy Servol left nothing for their opponents during the first race of the FFSA GT French Championship on the Magny-Cours Circuit.
Having also secured both pole positions, the duo in the Race Cars Consulting Alpine A110 GT4+ scored the maximum points this Saturday to regain the championship lead with a 17-point advantage over former leaders Lukas Papin and Jérémy Corsin (Alpine A110 GT4+ / Schumacher GP), who were forced to retire following contact.
While there was no suspense for the victory, the battle for second place was considerably more lively. Initially, Thomas Drouet led the chase in the Akkodis ASP Team Toyota Supra GT4 EVO2, but the duo he formed with Jérôme André lost time in the second half of the race and crossed the finish line in 8th place .

Fifth, Rémi and Axel van Straaten (Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport / VS Compétition) equaled their best result of the season by finishing ahead of the duos Roméo Leurs-Joshua Henry (Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2 / Mirage Racing) and Lazare Lartigau-Laurent Hurgon (Alpine A110 GT4+ / Chazel Technologie Course), who remain third in the championship.
Am Cup: A worthwhile change for Sloss and Levy
Having swapped their early-season Aston Martin for a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport for the Magny-Cours round, Jodie Sloss and David Levy immediately tasted success with their new car. The Mirage Racing duo delivered a near-perfect performance to secure their second Am Cup victory after their win at Dijon-Prenois.
Even without a penalty for exceeding track limits, Nicco Ferrarin and Julien Briché (Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport / JSB Compétition) would not have been able to win despite starting from pole position in the category.
Forced to stop at the end of the race, Stéphane Lémeret and Stéphane Auriacombe (Alpine A110 GT4 EVO / CMR) salvaged the essential by scoring the points for third place.
Second victory for Alberto and Rdest in the Alpine ELF Cup Series

This benefited Paul Alberto and Gosia Rdest (Chazel Technologie Course), who had been comfortably in the lead from the start and managed to hold off their rivals. This second victory, following their win at Dijon-Prenois, propels them back into second place in the provisional standings.
After the Stop & Go penalty for Monti and Wallgren, who ultimately finished fourth, second place went to Lenny Kieffer and Julien Neveu (Schumacher GP) while Anthony Pisano and Julien Paget (Chazel Technologie Course) took the smallest step of the podium.
Poulain and Reviriault sprint in the Ginetta Cup
The victory in the Ginetta Cup, a race for Ginetta G56 GTAs, came down to the final corners. Leading almost from start to finish, championship leaders Léo Poncel and Philippe Marie saw victory slip away as they approached the final corner, the Lycée. Thanks to this decisive attack, Emmanuel Reviriault and Arthur Poulain secured their second win of the season.
