Max continued his impressive pre-season form in the latest official F3 test at Snetterton in Norfolk, ending the two days with the 5th quickest time overall, fastest of the Hitech Racing team’s drivers….

At just 16 years old, Max is the youngest driver in the 24 car field and in only his second year of single seater racing, but this didn’t prevent him setting the pace for much of the two-day test. He topped the time sheets on Tuesday and Wednesday before slipping to 5th place after new tyre runs, just over one tenth of a second away from the fastest time.

This impressive performance confirms the potential Max showed in the first of this season’s test at Pembrey last week and obviously Max was delighted;

“It was a good test, I think we’ve learnt a lot over the last two days and I’m very happy to be running at the front again.  One thing I’ve really learnt about working with Hitech is that it’s not all down to the car set-up; a lot has to come from the driver too. My pace at Pembrey was a bit of a surprise but I’d expected to go well at Snetterton as I’d done most of my testing there. Now I’m looking forward to Silverstone International next week as it’s another track I know well.”
