Kamui Kobayashi sets an outstanding lap time yesterday afternoon in a 1:26.806 in Barcelona.
The Dams driver ended at the top of the time sheet in the afternoon session in a terrific lap time at the wheel of the 2008 GP2 car when the 2007 car’s best time on the Spanish track was set last year by Andreas Zuber with iSport in a 1:27.024.
Also quick, another rookie: Yelmer Buurman at the wheel of his Trust Team Arden car, followed by Javier Villa and Davide Valsecchi.
Frenchman Romain Grosjean makes his way back into the Top 5 after a frustrating morning session. Tomorrow’s session will start at 9am local time.
