 After  a  season  in  German  Formula  3,  which  ended  in  the   runner-up  position,  Frederic  Vervisch  is  aiming  to  take   the   title   in  this  championship  in  2008. 

In  order  to  succeed  in  his  quest,  Fred  has  signed  an  agreement with the  Swiss  Racing Team of former Sauber Formula 1 Engineer  Othmar Welti. Frederic Vervisch:

“During the  winter months, I received a lot of testing offers  from  the  Spanish  and  German  F3  Championship  teams.  SRT  also  invited  me   and I was really impressed by the  team. The  tests werer  very positive  and that  is  why  we   chose   a  second  year  in  German  Formula  3  with  SRT.  Of  course,  being  the   runne r-up  of  last  year,  I  only  have   one   goal  in  2008:  winning  the  title!” He  has  a  busy  pe riod  in  front  of  him.  From  Wednesday,  March  26 th,  th e  21-year-old Belgian is racing in th e Asian Formula 3 Championship. There are six  races  scheduled  for  the   Philippine   race   track  of  Batangas.  During  that weekend, the champion will be  crowned. In the point standings, Frederic has a big lead. The  champion will get a test with th  Force  India Formula 1 team.
