Motors TV May Highlights

Channel 413 on Sky Digital and 545 on Virgin Media LIVE AND BREATHE MOTORCYCLING ON MOTORS TV!This month, two wheel-motor sports will be honoured on Motors TV, with a flood of not-to-be-missed events!

The World Superbike Championship - The stunning start made by the 2007 WSBK champion, Brit James Toseland, in this year’s Moto GP, was a reminder that the World Superbike Championship is not a second division series: in fact, more than ever, the discipline is a genuine alternative. 2 meetings take place in May. As usual, the ‘High Speed Television’ channel will screen extended highlights on the Thursday following the event, with the bonus of the World Supersport Championship and Superstock 1000 races (a total of 2½ hours coverage). The action kicks off at Assen, a traditional home for European motorcycling, on 1 March, and then moves to the high speed Monza on 15 March, for the 4th and 5th rounds of the season.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the Atlantic, the Americans have their own Superbike and Supersport series, embellished by the Formula Xtreme category. More than 2 hours of highlights ensure fans do not miss any action from the most spectacular of the USA’s two wheel-races!

Moving from on-track to off-road, 2008 sees Motors TV broadcasting LIVE coverage of the World Motocross Championship, MX2 category. The series features two races per meeting, transmitted live and exclusive with expert commentary and analysis. May’s two Grand Prix sees trips to Bulgaria and Italy…

However, it is back to Germany for Round 4 at Lausitz where the confrontation between Audi and Mercedes is traditionally “hot”… The two races are LIVE on Motors TV!

Motors TV rounds up the best of the weekend’s action on the Wednesday after the event, with an hour and a half of highlights dedicated to the French GT Championship, the French Clio Cup and the Porsche Carrera Cup France.
