WOLVERHAMPTON went back to the top of the Elite League with a 55-39 win over Eastbourne at Monmore Green.Skipper Peter Karlsson was unbeaten by an opposing rider in his 14+1 hauland fellow Swede Freddie Lindgren scored 12+2. Davey Watt was the top Eaglewith 11.Said Karlsson: "It's nice for us to be top, but it's all about making sure we're in contention towards the end of August."

KING'S Lynn boss Rob Lyon insists his side need to beat Scunthorpe onWednesday to keep up the pressure at the top of the table.Lyon is concerned about a lack of meetings for his side before a hecticspell later next month.He said: "It's important that we win by more than six-points on Wednesday to maintain a good, strong league position before next month."
