From its launch in 2008 at the World Championships at Muro Leccese, the DR Racing Kart range has been an instant success on the international scene.
Combining great performance with quality, durability and looks, the J90 has been designed with the Rotax market in mind, whilst the M92 chassis has been developed for the softer, European tyres. To help you get either kart working to perfection, Steve Green and his family-run team provide drivers with a close-knit, positive environment from which to get the most out of your racing.
Steve says, “I meet a lot of people who very quickly become jaded with big awnings. They can become places where people get lost and forgotten, or simply find that they’re paying for someone else’s weekend. We’re not like that. We pride ourselves on DR Racing Kart UK being a neat little package. Everyone’s important and we all pull together to help each other.”
He adds, “I see picking the right team like choosing your child’s school. You ask yourself ‘will they learn something positive, make friends, be safe and at the end of the day, come home happy’?”

There is an added benefit too, access to the kart’s designer and five-time World Champion, Danilo Rossi. Steve explains, “Having had a stellar career with CRG, Danilo began to think about designing his own range of karts back in 2007. Last year, he realised that dream and despite his legendary reputation, he remains very much down to earth and always available to dispense advice”.
“Recently, Danilo came over to Whilton Mill to assist with a test. His depth of knowledge is incredible and he’s passionate about sharing it with DR Kart drivers. He’s even said that DR owners can call him for set-up advice or driving tips.”
