Rockingham for just £10

ENJOY A SUMMER OF BRITISH CLUB RACING AT ROCKINGHAM FOR JUST £10

MOTORSPORT fans are being offered the chance to enjoy the best of British club racing for just £10 at Rockingham this summer.

The Northamptonshire circuit is running a special ticket promotion as part of its commitment to make motorsport more accessible and affordable for all racing fans.

Fans will be able to take advantage of the special discount offer at Rockingham’s next two race meetings as the circuit celebrates a summer of British club racing with the BRSCC (July 19) and BARC (September 6).

So if you’ve been to see a race meeting in 2009 at any MSA licensed UK circuit, then you can get into one of Rockingham’s club events on Sunday (race day) for just £10 on the gate when you bring your ticket along. A full list of eligible circuits is available at www.rockingham.co.uk.

Rockingham Director Charlotte Orton, said: “We have been running a similar scheme on all our race day tickets for the past two seasons but we have decided to extend the offer to fans who visit other circuits.

“The BRSCC and BARC provide the best in British club racing and with Rockingham hosting both meetings in the summer, we wanted to do something different to encourage more fans to experience them as well as show our support to British Motorsport.

“Coupled with our generous free child admission policy, this special offer means families can enjoy a fantastic day out for as little as £10 per adult.”

The BRSCC race meeting takes place over the weekend of July 18/19, and features the LMA Euro Saloon & Sport Cars, Alfashop Alfa Romeo, Formula 3 and Porsche 924 championships, Motor Lawyers Fiat Racing Challenge and the Open Sportscar Series.

Formula Renault, BMW, Classic Saloons, Post Historic Touring Cars, Group 1 Touring Cars, Classic Modified Saloons feature on the bill for the BARC race meeting, which is being held over the weekend of September 5/6.

To round off both race meetings there will be 150mph paint-swapping action from the 2009 Pickup Truck Championship on Europe’s fastest racing circuit - the famous Rockingham oval.

The entertainment won’t be confined to the track and there will be plenty for all the family to enjoy, including face painters, temporary tattooist, Rockingham simulators and entertainment from Corby Radio. General admission includes access to an open paddock and unreserved grandstand seat.
