WET PRACTICE IN BRNO

JD Motorsport's Sergey Afanasiev posted yesterday afternoon's fastest lap time for International Formula Master's (IFM) first free practice session in Brno, Czech Republic.

With heavy rain falling on the track relentlessly throughout the morning, Afanasiev completed his quickest lap in 2:11.874 as the 45-minute session was ending.

Jenzer Motorsport's Fabio Leimer was second fastest with a best time of 2:11.974, also posted on his last lap, ahead of JD Motorsport's Josef Kral whose best time was 2:12.421.

New drivers Matteo Davenia and Erik Janis acquitted themselves well in the wet, with Davenia posting a best lap of 2:25.094 for Cram Competition, and Janis recording the tenth fastest time in 2:14.516 on his return to the Series with team ISR.
