MCL Motorhomes MSA British Hillclimb Championship - Rounds 17 & 18: Harewood, Near Leeds – July 5th
Martin Groves moved into a four point championship lead with a win and second place as Scott Moran gave up his five point lead when a wheel speed sensor failed at the start of his round 17 run-off. Moran rescued his weekend with a round 18 win in the fastest time of the day.
The leading pairs’ co-drivers also went well with Roger Moran a little more successful than Paul Ranson. Roger closed slightly on Chris Merrick who again had a good day and his co-driver Tom New also went well. Trevor Willis cemented his position behind the top two and taking second place in round 17.
