Aston Martin Asia Cup drives available

FOR THE 12 HOUR MERDEKA MILLENIUM ENDURANCE RACE, MALAYSIA

Drivers Invited To Compete In The MME And Enjoy Some Night-time Fun With AMAC!

The Aston Martin Asia Cup organisers are pleased to offer drivers an exciting opportunity at the upcoming Merdeka Millennium Endurance 12 Hour race. AMAC are looking to enter two Aston Martin N24s into the new class A1 (GT4) for the race taking place at Sepang on 6-8th August. The cars should prove very competitive in this new class and Sepang International Circuit offers a superb location for endurance racing in Asia. 2009 marks the 10th anniversary of the event .

Each car will field three drivers at a cost of $US25k per driver to include all preparation, technical crew, parts, hospitality for drivers, 10 sets of new Michelin slick tyres, 2 sets of Michelin wets, track and entrance fees plus on track insurance (subject to excess). Drivers can also take the opportunity to include competing in the AMAC support races over the weekend – you can never race behind the wheel of an Aston Martin too much!

The Aston Martin Asia Cup will be attending the event as a support with two races, one of which at night, a first for the series. The night race is certainly one everyone in the AMAC paddock is looking forward to and adds another dimension to the series’ varied and challenging calendar.

Funded drivers are warmly invited to contact AMAC Series Director Ian Geekie on +60123812078 or iangeekie@hotmail.com for full details.
