SCOTT Nicholls made a dream return to Ipswich with 13-points in their 49-41 win over high-flying Wolverhampton at Foxhall.
The British Grand Prix rider won the vital last race over Freddie Lindgren and Peter Karlsson to deny Wolves a point.
Said Nicholls: "There were other clubs interested in signing me but Ipswich was always my first choice, it makes sense. I like the people and it's local for me."

GLASGOW will again be without skipper Shane Parker and Josh Grajczonek for their weekend action.
Both riders are not quite ready to return to action and Jason Bunyan and Robbie Kessler will deputise for Sunday's home meeting with Sheffield.
Co-boss Alan Dick said: "Sheffield will be coming to us to take advantage of our problems. It's been a busy time booking replacements but hopefully the boys will be back soon."
