"Thomas is the ‘factory’ driver and extremely quick, Marc has proved in the driver seat of a Ford GT1 in Oschersleben how exceptionally good he can be, Maxime is one of the best GT3 drivers and currently holds third in the FIA GT3 European Championship, and Peter is one of the best endurance race drivers among the automotive journalists in Europe.” "I"m absolutely thrilled and proud to be part of the Matech GT Racing Team at the 24 hours of Spa!” – said Peter Wyss, senior sports editor of the Swiss automotive weekly, Automobil Revue. "I have best memories of this race because the last time I competed there I won the GT3 class in 2004 in a Porsche GT3 Cup together with Belgians Vanina Ickx and Jean-François Hemroulle. Therefore I want to come back to the podium now with a Ford GT3 of the Matech GT Racing Team."As for the Brazilian team Martin Bartek has got high hopes as well. "Clemente and Constantino are doing quite well in the Brazilian GT3 Championship this year, they have won a race and finished on the podium several times, Xandy and Andreas have already shown their qualities last year by winning the Brazilian GT3 Championship on the wheels of a Ford GT3.”"I believe we have a very good package of cars and drivers for the 24H of Spa and hope that we can leave Belgium with nice memories” – outlined Martin Bartek.
