Race stewards met at Donington to consider an appeal by Hector Lester against his exclusion from the results of round 10 at Snetterton; they ruled to lessen his punishment for not wearing the correct safety clothing to a £600 fine and reinstated the race victory scored by him and his Rosso Verde team-mate Alan Simonsen.
