(SPEEDWAY 1)WOLVERHAMPTON have signed experienced former British Champion Joe Screen as cover for the injured Adam Skornicki.Screen has agreed a deal to cover the reigning champions' first eleven Elite League matches whilst the Pole recovers from knee surgery.He said:  "It's in my interests to do my very best, and I intend to give the club a dilemma when it comes to a longer term situation."

(SPEEDWAY 2)PETERBOROUGH have confirmed the signing of Troy Batchelor in a full transfer from Elite League rivals Swindon.The two clubs have agreed a deal which involves an undisclosed initial fee followed by add-ons based on Batchelor's performances.Panthers owner Rick Frost said: "Troy is clearly someone with enormous potential to improve his average and we are quite happy if we have to top up his fee at a later stage."
