BRITISH Speedway promoters are set to throw open their doors to members of the Armed Forces next month.Saturday June 26 has been declared a National Armed Forces Day where service men and women are being treated to free days out for them and their families.And British Speedway Promoters' Association bosses have decided that speedway should play its part as well.BSPA Chairman Alex Harkess said: "We think we should participate in the spirit of the occasion. "As a result, we will admit members of the armed forces, free of charge, during the week commencing June 20th - 27th."The Members of the BSPA Management Committee view this as a good PR exercise for the Sport."Further information will follow in due course.
