Suzuki wins 8hr Alabacete endurance

Team Suzuki's World Endurance Racing Team has taken victory in the Albacete 8 Hours in Spain.

Team riders Vincent Philippe, Freddy Foray and Japanese Superbike star Daisaku Sakai came from the back to win by one lap.

GSX-R1000-mounted SERT took the lead after six hours of racing and finished ahead of Kawasaki Bolliger Switzerland riders Horst Saiger, Patric Muff and Roman Stamm, who now lead the series.The Suzuki RT Moto Virus of Lucas de Carolis, Eric Mizera and William Grare raced to fifth place ahead of the Suzuki AM Moto Racing's Julien Millet, Anthony dos Santos and Raphael Chevre.

The next round of the 2010 Qtel FIM Endurance World Championship is the 8 Hours of Suzuka in Japan on July 25th.
