Miltimatic Motorsportd heading to the "Bullring"

Markham, Ontario (May 27, 2010) - The Multimatic Motorsports Ford Mustang Boss 302R is ready for the road racing equivalent of an oval track bullring when it heads to the next round of the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge at Lime Rock Park (May 28 - 29).One of the shortest tracks of the schedule, the Lime Rock weekend will feature separate races for the GS and ST classes, easing the traffic burden on the short 1.53-mile, seven turn road course. The Multimatic Motorsports team has been hard at work in the past few weeks between races, continuing the development of the Ford Mustang Boss 302R.So far this season, the #15 Multimatic Motorsports and #16 Bayshore Recycling entries have shown outstanding speed, but terrible fortune in each of the races.Joe Foster and Scott Maxwell, drivers of the #15 Mustang Boss 302R, have started on the front row for all four races this year, with pole positions at Homestead and Barber Motorsports Park.Combined with their teammates Gunnar Jeannette and Frankie Montecalvo, they've led the most laps of all teams with 100, registered fastest lap of the race at Homestead-Miami Speedway and Barber Motorsports Park and proven their outright performance time and again, but they have not seen the desired finishing positions. However, Multimatic Motorsports is confident it can keep building on those performances while finally obtaining the results they deserve.

Although it's been a month between races, the drivers have been keeping busy these last few weeks. Scott Maxwell is returning from the MarcVDS GT3 Mustang debut at Brno in the Czech Republic in the FIA GT3 Championship.  In a race used for development purposes, the car ran flawlessly and showed good pace with Maxwell mixing it with Europe's best.

While Foster and Maxwell have raced at Lime Rock Park in the past in a FR500C and know what to expect heading into the event, Jeannette and Montecalvo will be making their Mustang debut at the Lakeville, CT track.

The drivers will get to turn their first laps of the season at Lime Rock Park on Friday, May 28 at 11:20 a.m. ET during the first practice session. A second practice session will be held at 2:10 p.m. before the 15-minute qualifying session at 4:05 p.m. ET.The Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge GS class race from Lime Rock Park will go green on Saturday, May 29 at 3:00 p.m. ET.
