StingrayRV MSA British Kart Championship Report

Rounds 5 & 6: Nutts Corner, 29/30 MayTom Grice and Mark Litchfield shared the StingrayRV MSA British Kart Championship spoils at Nutts Corner, while Denis Gorman starred in the wet on Saturday to top timed qualifying.  A pair of heat wins gave Grice pole position for the first final on a dry Sunday; he led until losing out to Litchfield and MSA AASE student Jordan Chamberlain, who had vaulted to the sharp end from seventh on the grid. Chamberlain took the chequered flag but was subsequently found to be underweight and therefore excluded. Grice thus inherited the win, having found his way back past Litchfield.Litchfield hit the front at the start of the second final and was never headed thereafter. Second place was swapped between Grice and Walker before falling to hard-charging local ace Raymie Eastwood. That pushed Walker down to fourth in favour of Grice, while Chamberlain failed to finish.
