The eighteen year old driver's hard work paid dividends at the Dutch circuit, which has one of the most demanding lay-out in the world, where he showed a strong pace without errors that led him to the second place.

Facu Regalia, who started from the third place of the grid, fend off the manoeuvres from his opponents in the first moments of the race and crossed the finish line for the first time in that position. After the two safety car periods, the Eifelland Racing driver reached the second place, with a good move on the championship leader. “I’m very happy! In the start I could defend myself from my rivals and in the second part of the race I started to attack, as my car started behave in a better way”, said the Spanish-Argentinean driver that, with this result, puts himself in the fight for the top championship places.

The second race, scheduled for the afternoon, was held under consistent rain that started just five minutes from the start. The track was completely wet when the lights were out, imposing wet tires for all the drivers. After twelve hard laps, in which was easy to make a mistake, Facu Regalia took his car to the flag in seventh. “It was a very hard race. The track was very treacherous and the car was very hard to drive. To put things a little bit harder for me, I didn’t start very well and I lost three places. Nevertheless, I add twelve points to my championship campaign”, said soaked driver just after the end of the race.
