SCUNTHORPE bounced back from their home defeat by Newport with a 52-42 win at Glasgow on Sunday.British youngster Jerran Hart top scored with 14+3 in a solid all-round Scorpions performance.Said Hart: "I made some really lightning starts tonight and all the team put a good performance in."Today was sheer concentration and anger and aggression after Friday. After Friday I came along with a totally different approach and if I can keep coming to meetings with the attitude I had today then hopefully no problem."

RICKY Ashworth, the Sheffield captain, will guest for Belle Vue in their Elite League match against Coventry at Kirkmanshulme Lane tonight (Monday) 7.30.He replaces injured Scot William Lawson who still cannot put any weight on his injured ankle. Chris Morton, manager of the Autogate Aces, said: "Lawson's ankle isn't broken but he is still having problems with it."The Aces, searching for a new signing after Toby Kroner's decision to retire from British racing, are in talks with riders and want to bring in a fresh face as soon as possible. Meanwhile, they have a 28-day facility to use the rider replacement rule in his absence.
