MSA Gravel Rally Championship

Round 3: Severn Valley National, June 5Jonny Milner and Ian Windress secured their second MSA Gravel Rally Championship victory in a row by beating Roger Duckworth and Mark Broomfield on the Severn Valley National. Duckworth was fastest out of the blocks, anxious to make amends for crashing out of the preceding Pirelli Tour of Cumbria. He and Milner traded times for the remainder of the event, with the championship leader ultimately claiming victory by a slender 10.9-second margin."What a fantastic day!” said Milner. “Radnor was brilliant and in really good condition. Roger and I had a cracking battle all day long and to come out on top is the best way to end such an event."Results1 Jonny Milner / Ian Windress (Toyota Corolla WRC ) 1h00m59.8s        2 Roger Duckworth / Mark Broomfield (Subaru Impreza) 1h01m10.7s  3 Charlie Payne / Craig Thorley (Ford Focus WRC 06) 1h02m44.3s  4 Stephen Petch / John Richardson (Hyundai Accent WRC) 1h02m45.7s  5 Tom Cave / Ieuan Thomas (Proton Satria Neo) 1h02m50.1s  6 Alex Allingham / Mark Glennerster (Subaru Impreza) 1h03m57.9s  Championship positions (provisional) after Round 3  1 Jonny Milner – 68 points2 Stephen Petch – 58 3 Charlie Payne – 464 Roger Duckworth – 43 5 Alex Allingham – 33 6 Wug Utting – 21
