Hankook MSA Northern Ireland Stage Rally Championship

Round 5: Mourne Rally, June 5Darren Gass and Sean Mullaly stormed to victory on round five of the Hankook MSA Northern Ireland Stage Rally Championship, the Mourne Rally. Gass’s win followed a double puncture on SS7 and a subsequently resurgent drive on the final two tests. John McGlaughlin led the event after SS1 but eventually settled for second place ahead of Junior competitor Mark Donnelly.Championship protagonist George Robinson retired at the first service with transmission woes on his Subaru Impreza WRC.
