Harewood Speed Hillclimb - British Championship Meeting

July 3rd & 4th

The cream of Britain’s hillclimb competitors will converge on Harewood Speed Hillclimb to race on the UK’s longest permanent hillclimb course on the first weekend in July.

The British Championship Meeting will begin on Saturday July 3rd, with the day being given over to practice runs enabling the competitors, some of whom have travelled from as far afield as Scotland, Wales and the south coast, to familiarise themselves with Harewood Speed Hillclimb’s ultra-demanding course.

Sunday sees the British Championship competition proper, where the spectacular entry list which ranges from production sports cars to specialist single seater race cars will be flat out up the hill, many at speeds in excess of 100mph as they fight to be fastest.

Harewood Speed Hillclimb is easy reach off the A659 Harewood-Collingham road, which is close to the A1, between Harrogate & Leeds. The course is set in a stunning Yorkshire Dales location overlooking the Wharfe valley, catering and seating is provided and spectators are spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing great trackside viewing areas. The paddock is open throughout the meeting, allowing everyone to get close to the cars and chat with the drivers.

Spectator entry is just £5 per person on Saturday and £10 on Sunday and much more information, plus videos of top competitors, can be found at harewoodhill.com
