A fortnight after the last thrilling round at Oulton Park, the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Championship heads to Croft in North Yorkshire for rounds seven and eight. Charles Bateman, who is supported by Pilgrim Foodservice and Henderson Insurance Brokers, will be looking to bring home valuable Championship points.

Last time out at Oulton Park, Motorbase Performance driver, Charles Bateman, continued his rich vein of form with impressive displays of driving. The Lincolnshire-based driver secured a 5th place finish in Race One and an unfortunate 9th in Race Two after spinning out of a podium spot.

Preparing himself for a challenging weekend, Bateman commented “I’m hoping to get a decent qualifying result so I can capitalise on my race pace that we seem to have at the moment. But I know this race weekend will be slightly tougher for me. My sister is getting married on Friday so I won’t be testing with everyone else. As well as that, every time I have raced at Croft it has been wet, making things even more challenging. But I’m really looking forward to the weekend and hopefully brining home some more good results.”
