• QUOTES

Yvan Muller (2nd): «The track was very dirty and slippery, so it was difficult to really try to go fast.On top, the rubber left by the Formula 2 cars does not help, as their tires are quite different fromours. This said, I enjoyed the track, which is interesting and offers good rhythm.”Rob Huff (6th): “I had a problem with an exhaust pipe, but the boys were quick in fixing it, andcould only do four laps. Despite that and despite the fact the track was very green, I could reachP6 and I am very happy with the set-up of the car that we had developed at the factory. I think it’sa very promising start of the week-end”.

Alain Menu (7th): “The track has not much grip and the car is sliding, sometimes with the front, sometimes with rear, so it is really too early to say anything. There are certainly a couple ofchanges to the set-up that I have in mind. I have also noticed that many drivers are really cuttingsome corners, by fully jumping on the kerbs, we will have to see how the stewards will approachthis, as it really makes a difference in lap times”.

Vincent Radermacker (10th): “As expected, I was quite fast at the beginning, that is theadvantage of not having to learn the track! As everybody, I thought the track had not a lot of grip, especially in the first two fast corners. I will now work with the engineers on the data collected, but I already know where I can improve: coming from rear-wheel drive cars I have a tendency toenter too fast in the corners, losing then time at the exit”.
