Canadian Tire, one of Canada's largest publicly traded companies currently in its fourth year as the title sponsor of NCATS, has added the Honda IndyCar Series race at Edmonton and the Honda IndyCar Series race at Toronto to its motorsport sponsorship portfolio.

Additionally, Canadian Tire has taken up title sponsorship of the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal.
Finally, the company has announced a sponsorship agreement with Canadian multi-disciplined sportscar driver Ron Fellows. A resident of Mississauga, Ontario, Fellows will compete in the number 88 Chevrolet Impala in the NASCAR Nationwide Race at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on 29th August. Fellow's joins current Canadian Tire sponsored drivers, Scott Steckly and Mark Dilley.

In total Canadian Tire's new sponsorship package is estimated to have cost US$750,000.
