To help raise awareness for victims of last year’s ‘Black Saturday’ fire disasters in Victoria, Hertz MINI Challenge – delivered by Pizza Capers is teaming-up with Global Care; key provider of relief services in the Kinglake bushfire region.
Global Care continues to be the only major relief agency operating in the centre of Kinglake and MINI Challenge is offering support during its next championship round, the L & H 500 at Phillip Island.
Each of the MINI R56 race-cars will be branded with the Global Care logo on its wing mirrors to generate awareness for this fantastic organisation and its huge efforts to supply relief to the thousands whose lives have been effected by the fires.
MINI Challenge is also putting on an exclusive function for 30 of the Kinglake fire victims who have been invited VIPs by the event’s sponsor L & H. Here the Kinglake locals will be part of a MINI Challenge special presentation, private driver meet and greet, prize packs and will be treated to the best Pizza’s in town courtesy of partners Pizza Capers.
The Category hopes this function will provide these brave people with a unique experience as they come behind the scenes of an official V8 Supercar support category. Raising awareness for Global Care throughout the motorsport community will hopefully generate further donations to the organisation which has done so much for these people in need.
